Tournaments

Overview

1. PCWKGA tournaments are open to All Members and Handicap Adjusted to present a level playing field.

2. To play in one of our tournaments, member must be in good standing and hold a GHIN handicap with at least 3x posted scores.

3. Entry fee to our tournaments is $20 and all money collected is distributed out that day to the individuals or teams who perform the best.  Every effort is made to spread the winnings across as many players and/or teams as possible and in fact we allocate even more money from our general fund (min $200) to help support SCATS and Closest to the Pin winners per tournament.

4. For most tournaments, Tournament Details, including Payouts and Marked Scorecards with handicaps denoted will be provided at registration.

5. All Match Play style Tournaments to be played at 80% Handicap unless otherwise noted and is determined using the GHIN app.

6. In competition, Ties are Common and to determine the winner(s), the overall performance on the back nine is the first determinant.  If still tied, then the hardest holes as determined by Pinecrest Country Club is compared, starting with hole #18, then hole #9, and so forth.
